How to Backup and Restore Your Website Print

Introduction:
Regular backups protect your website from data loss. AbayHost allows you to create and restore backups easily via cPanel.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

• Go to https://yourdomain.com/cpanel.

• Enter your username and password.

Step 2: Create a Backup

1. Scroll to the Files section.

2. Click Backup or Backup Wizard.

3. Choose Full Backup or Partial Backup (Home Directory, MySQL Databases, Email).

4. Click Generate Backup and wait for the process to complete.

5. Download the backup file to your computer for extra safety.

Step 3: Restore a Backup

1. Go to Backup or Backup Wizard in cPanel.

2. Select Restore.

3. Upload the backup file from your computer.

4. Follow prompts to restore files, databases, or emails.
